The Hairfords

November 19, 2007

The Hairford family and I go to church together, and I’ve shot these lovely little ladies before so we’re all comfortable together. It’s interesting what kids remember… Hailey COULD remember me as “the choir director lady” or even the “crazy lady”, but rather she still reminisces over our May photo shoot with me as “the picture lady.” :) The good thing about this is that we’re now cool with me on one side of the camera and her on the other. She’s a doll and loves to smile and flash those HUGE blue eyes at me. Little Hannah’s got so much personality, and if you look reeeeal close, you might can see it! :D They’re all a really great team and were lots of fun to shoot. Thanks, Dad, for patiently waiting to get your requested state capital shots at the very end (notice we strategically did that so that you wouldn’t give up until you got your shot! ha!). Thanks guys!

Here’s a few from our shoot back in May, celebrating Hannah turning 1-year-old!

Laikyn Cole Is 12!

October 26, 2007

When I was young, photography was still that stuffy junk: fuzzy carpets, perfect lighting, and angelic poses. Now, thankfully, it’s all about showing your personality…which makes it a perfect way to celebrate 12 years of life! I met Laikyn and her Mom in New Roads for Laikyn’s 12-year-old pics, and we had 2 hours of fun! Changing outfits, reapplying lip gloss, rearranging hair…she had a great time as we fussed and fiddled with her to get some great shots. What a doll! Does anyone else see a little model here??

My Nephew, The Doll

August 23, 2007

My gorgeous nephew, Dawson, was in town this weekend with his parents as they wrapped up their move to Memphis. I took advantage of 30 minutes he had free to sneak in a one-year photo shoot. As always, he was a great sport, a total ham, and the darling baby model he always is! I’m posting lots of shots, but how could I leave any of these out??
