In early March, I met with Holly & Jeremy to shoot their engagement photos. An outdoorsy couple who love to go mudding on their monstrous 4-wheelers, we had a ton of fun exploring and shooting at the Bluebonnet Swamp & Nature Center in Baton Rouge! I can’t wait to shoot Holly’s bridals in a few weeks, and am looking forward to shooting you guys’ wedding in June!
I originally planned to swear off photography work for the month of my wedding, but I renigged! I couldn’t bear to put the camera down for that long. So, I went into this busy weekend with a request that all parties understand if my turnaround times are a little distorted because of my wedding insanity. Thankfully, all were agreeable and understanding. Here’s a quick peek at my two shoots. I’ll give a more detailed version of their sessions later (once I get more edited!).
In brief, had a morning senior shoot and afternoon engagement session. Olivia is a senior at Denham Springs High school and is trying out for the LSU cheer squad soon. Good luck, Livi!

What a grogeous couple! I met Jessica a couple of years ago when she worked with my sister, and Colten and Donald have been friends since high school. So, what an honor for me to be able to shoot their engagement photos! Donald was a good sport while Jessica and I chattered on about wedding planning (our weddings are a month apart!). To date, this couple has been one of the most fun to shoot! From the moment we met up, Nathaniel kept us in fits with his Metairiean sense of humor, and Claire was her usual gracious self. Nathaniel, you are getting a perfect lady, and Claire, you a wonderful gentleman. Good luck, you guys!

Mandy & Richard’s engagement shoot was a Friday afternoon, post-workday shoot, so we all went into it a little exhausted. I stayed in their faces, but they were great sports, and we got some amazing shots. We even had time for a mini-shoot of Richard’s daughter, Madeline. Thanks guys, for giving me some great faces to frame!
